Like Duane, I'm also a novice. I've always wanted to learn, but have been unable to find training that fits with my work schedule. Finally, I picked up some basic supplies, and the Spaulding book and video. After experimenting on oranges, practice skins and myself, found a few friends and coworkers who were willing to be lab animals. (this tattoo is #10 for me)
Anyway, the tattoo is on a friend who's wanted a tall ship for 30 years. The photo's a little rough, as it was taken right after it was finished. My friend was ecstatic with the results, which mean something to me since he has work on his body that was done by Lyle Tuttle himself.
